Older and wiser

Yesterday, I turned twenty-five. I was dreading this birthday but I ended up having a blast.

Cheap and easy fun

Rob goes scrapping. For those of you not complete hillbillies, scrapping is picking up scrap metals (usually out of other people's garbage) and selling it for very little money. Last night, he brought home a load of scrap to take on Monday and in it was this exercise bike thing. It was so fun and free! It's going away soon but it should be fun for the weekend.

Birthday Fun!

I had a very romantic pre-birthday. Rob purposed (kinda). It was all very sweet and silly and it's not even my birthday yet.

a month of thankfulness

a lot of my facebook friends are listing things they're thankful for everyday this month and i'm a copycat so here goes my list today.....

1. i'm thankful for a roof over my head, food to eat, clean drinking water, and generally having my basic needs met.

2. i'm thankful that i have the ability to work and a job that only makes me a little crazy.

3. i'm thankful for a dreamy boyfriend and a happy home.

i'm very lucky and i need to take the time everyday to appreciate how much i have.
